Hello!
As an openly gay therapist, I bring a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community. I am also a nerd at heart with a love for Star Trek, True Crime, and Weird Al. My goal is to create a safe and affirming space to all those that feel like "misfit toys" which is one of the reasons I became a therapist. I earned my Master’s degree from Brandman University (now UMass Global) and gained invaluable clinical experience serving diverse clients at the LGBTQ+ Center OC. My approach integrates evidence-based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), also known as parts work. By working collaboratively and compassionately, I aim to help my clients build deeper connections with themselves and others, fostering growth, self-compassion, and meaningful change. Clients have come to me for a variety of life struggles including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, couples communication issues, and recovery from toxic relationships. Contact me today to schedule a free 20 minute consultation! I can then help you determine if my approach is the right fit.
