Compassionate ADHD Therapy in California

Smart, Capable… and Constantly Catching Up.

You’re smart, driven, and full of good intentions but somehow, you’re always behind. That to-do list? Overflowing. That big idea? Still in the notes app. The day ends and all you can think about is everything you didn’t get done. You meant to start earlier. You wanted to stay on task. But procrastination took over…again. And now regret sets in, followed closely by that familiar, sinking shame.

Then there are the impulsive decisions. The job change you made in a rush, the texts you wish you hadn’t sent, the spending you justified in the moment but now can’t explain. You’re not reckless, but it’s hard to slow down long enough to think things through. And later? You’re left untangling the fallout, wondering why you can’t just “get it together” like everyone else seems to.

Between procrastination and impulsive decisions, it feels like you’re stuck in a loop you can’t break.
Most painful of all is the way it wears on your self-worth. You know you’re capable, your brain is creative, quick, and full of potential, but you can’t seem to make it show up consistently. And when life feels like a constant game of catch-up, it’s hard not to internalize the belief that you’re just… not enough.

How Therapy for ADHD can help you regain control of your life

No More Scrambling, Spiraling, or Second-Guessing

Therapy for ADHD
You still have a fast-moving brain, but now it’s supported. You wake up knowing what your priorities are, and instead of scrambling, you ease into your day with a clear plan that actually works for you. You start tasks without the usual resistance (and debilitating guilt!). You answer emails without spiraling or spending too much time on it. You even remember to eat lunch on time. Finally, you can start those long neglected projects you swore you would do one day.

When that familiar impulsive urge kicks in whether it’s replying too quickly, spending without thinking, or making a sudden decision you’ll second-guess later…you’re now able to catch it. You pause. You check in. You respond with intention instead of reacting on autopilot. Choices start to feel calmer, more thoughtful, and more aligned with who you want to be.
You’re catching the spiral before it starts and finally following through with what matters most.
And that voice in your head that says you’re falling behind? It doesn’t hold the same power anymore. You’re building trust with yourself while celebrating the days you followed through, being kinder on the days you didn’t. You’re not forcing yourself into someone else’s version of success. You’re finally living in a way that reflects your pace, your strengths, and it feels like enough.

Therapy for ADHD with a Therapist that knows about ADHD personally

Lived Experience Meets Practical Support

I work with thoughtful, insightful adults who’ve spent their lives hearing how much potential they have—while secretly wondering why it’s so hard to access. Many of my clients are creatives, entrepreneurs, neurodivergent professionals, or deeply caring people who’ve mastered the art of “holding it together” on the outside, while quietly burning out inside. They’re tired of white-knuckling their way through the day, tired of hiding how hard it really is.
This work is personal for me. As someone with ADHD, I know what it’s like to wrestle with your own brain—to feel frustrated by your patterns, yet unsure how to change them. I also know what’s possible when you combine that lived experience with tools that are rooted in evidence-based practices. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I’m not here to fix you (or to tell you to just create a “to do list”)—I’m here to help you understand your brain, soften the shame, and build a way of living that feels steady and self-honoring.

Therapy with me is grounded in real-life ADHD experience and evidence-based tools.
In our work together, we’ll get curious about what’s driving the procrastination, the impulsivity, the overwhelm. We’ll create routines that adapt to your energy, not fight against it. We’ll practice skills that help you pause instead of react, regulate your nervous system, and find forward motion even when motivation is nowhere in sight. This isn’t about forcing productivity. It’s about feeling like you again—clear, capable, and grounded in who you are.
